It was a really tough reality pill to swallow when I was given my 2nd wake up call again.
I feel as though I'm not putting in enough effort. Oh goshes, SPM. Is about 3 more months away!
What preparation have I done?? When will I start?? I'm really glad things happened the way they did today.
School was again very fun, thanks to frens! (",) Went back home after extra classes and took a nap. All of a sudden was woken up by a surprise call from Firdaus! And there goes my sleep zzz.
However, didn't mind one bit as it was firdaus and if u're reading this fird, I REALLY don't mind! So no need to apologize again hahahha!
Ooh! I cannot wait to go to amcorp with dhinisya and emir this saturday! 3 words! shop shop shop! But before that, I have to put in more effort and prove my mettle! Ah, what am I crapping? But then again, that is the whole point of a blog aint it?

Eventful Monday
*krrrriiinggg* the school bell rang, signifying the start of a new week and time for assembly.
As usual, sang 3 songs and read Rukun Negara. And suddenly, En.Razaman announced that this will be his last week!
Back in class, we found out that the paint the school administrators gave each class for the banner in conjuction with Hari Merdeka corroded the polystyrene cup! Paint was all over that table. uggh!
Lessons soon started and we paid full attention ;)
Half way through add maths lesson, huichuin took my hair band and started finding new ways to use it. I must say, Fook Hoy looked good in the hair band =) hahaha! too bad didn't get a picture of that!
Came back home and my uncle dropped by to visit granma.
Took a power nap and woke up for bm tuition.
After tuition, I watched america's funniest home videos! i love that show i tell u!
Went online and chatted with firdaus and he invited me to his birthday party in august!
Can't wait!
Made arrangements with Emir for this saturday's amcorp mall excursion! can't wait for that too mr.sexy jaan!

A Tribute To Heath Ledger
The moment I watched "First Knight" some years back in the cinema, i was immediately drawn to the charismatic lead man --> Heath Ledger.
Unfortunately, he passed away and I was pretty devastated as I really enjoyed his movies.
So as my title writes, I paid a tribute to Heath Ledger on Sunday. How?
I paid RM10 for my movie tickets to watch Dark Knight!
Went out with Wee Vien, Rui Zhi, Sapphira, Christine and sis tagged along too.
This latest batman movie was definitely longer, darker and grittier!
But also nicer!
After the super nice movie which rui zhi didn't like too much, we rushed to search for the nearest washroom. But bloody hell! All the washrooms on that floor was freaking full (and so were our bladders). Then Wee Vien wanted to run for the escalator and I told her "y dun we just use the lift"
Used the lift, went up a floor, found a washroom and emptied our bladders.
Later on, we went shopping!! serious shopping! Went to nichii, teddy tales, tribal spirit, body glove, etc. , etc.
And suddenly, I was stopped in my tracks!
Wee Vien and Rui Zhi were shocked too by my reaction!
They asked what happened as I gapped in awe.
I pointed my finger and they twisted their heads.
And there it was, my dream handbag at White Sand, hanging there calling out my name, asking me to purchase it.
Owh(dramatically), I couldn't bear the agony the poor beautiful bag was feeling.
So, I grabbed with my grubby hands and handed it over to the sales lady and said "This is mine"
She said "Pay first and it'll be yours".
So after purchasing that dream of a bag, I skipped gayfully around the whole of 1 Utama clutching on to my bag.
Went to shop some more, until my dad called "Audrey, do you know you have tuition at 7.30pm"
I stole a glance from Wee Vien's watch and saw the time "7.oopm"
bloody hell! Raced home, ate dinner and packed up my things in a speed of lightning.
However, I safefully arrived at tuition and smiled at the thought of my bag.
Ok, this is very off-tracked from the title! But! It still remains that Heath Ledger will always be one of my favourite actors.

Shop, Shop, Shop!
It started off as an ordinary day. Wake up, brush brush teeth, face wash, went out for brunch, watched tv, pooped. alright i'm not divulging anymore.
Then as evening dawned, my dad uttered the magic words.
"let's go to curve"
As quickly as I said "yes!" i jumped into the shower and off we go headed to the curve which is like our second home as we go there almost every saturday.
Had dinner first at sushi king and ordered way too much. Had black pepper udon and other side sushis. The fact remains that UNAGI is my fave baby!
After that yummylicious dinner, went to with mum and sis to shop for handbags.
But before that, mum stopped me in my tracks and asked me to exchange my flats for her super high heels! All because I pandai-pandai asked her to wear that pair of high heels as it matches her outfit. And now her legs were aching, so I had to wear em!
I was seriously walking like a penguin at first.
Then, walked like an ostrich and was lookin as if i was going to fall!
Next time, I'm going to keep my big mouth shut!
Scouted for handbags and shopped some more!
Later my sister and I dropped by in Popular bookstore for a read.
Went home at 11.30pm and slumped on my couch massaging my legs. my achy breaky legs..!

KDU Hospitality Race 2008
On monday, Pn.Saroja made an announcement saying that there will be a competition held in KDU college and i was super excited and dived head 1st for the challenge.
On the day of departure to KDU college (24/7), the van came late!
So wee vien n I went to ask for details and came back to class to let our friends know.
After much contemplating, SMK Tropicana was represented by 3 groups.
1st group, Awesome Tropz = Kai Ru, Siang Yee, Siew Mee
2nd group, Brilliant Tropz = Audrey, Wee Vien, Wen Kai
3rd group, Creative Tropz = Karina, Mei Ling, Felicia
On the day of departure to KDU college (24/7), the van came late!
Anxieties were raised when he did not show up at 8am and the letter stated that the competiton starts at 7.30am.
So jokingly, they suggested that Wee Vien drove us there but thankfully the van came!
But guess what, there was 9 of us and there were only 5seats plus a mini baby seat.
This was when everyone cramped up n squeezed in order to fit in that van.
Back row sat 4 people while Wen Kai was the lucky one who sat on the baby seat!
When we arrived at KDU College, we registered ourselves and entered the huge auditorium hall.
There were lots of tables in the middle, chairs and food!
While eating breakfast (nasi lemak and teh tarik), we met siew may. she hasn't changed one bit!
When all the teams from other school arrived, the chairman gave a brief speech
and thus the HOSPITALITY RACE started! (all 2gther there were 30+teams).
The last team for each task will be eliminated.
Task 1: We have to gather 3 pieces of puzzle and arrange them on our tables in the hall.
All the 3 pieces were on freakin different floors! One word : RUN!
Task 2: A piece of A4 paper filled with codes were given to us and we have to decode it.
Task 3: We had to run (again) to Room 104 and use the maps to identify the country on the piece of paper given.
Task 4: Off to the library. Only one team member can access the library to search for a lecturer in disguise and get the questions from him. Then we have to read the newspapers provided in one corner and answer the questions.
Task 5: Race to the guestroom and only one team member is allowed in to search for an item which should not be in a guestroom.
Task 6: Find the computer lab and each team is allowed to use only 2 computers to search for information to solve the crossword puzzle pertaining to global general knowledge.
Task 7: Run straight to Ground floor and balance 5 bottles of 600ml of mineral water and walk for a super long distance back and forth(including stairs). Any bottles dropped will result in the rep of the team having to start it all over again from the starting line.
Task 8: We had to find the Hospitality Wing which was on the highest floor and find the right person to collect ingredients for our next task.
Task 9: Now we had to run all the way back down to KDU Square and find this room to prepare a sandwich with the ingredients they provided(Tuna, mayonnaise, lecttuce, onions, raw tomato, 3 pieces of bread). Next clue will be given after all the sandwiches were finished.
Task 10: Race to the finish line(almost). Went back to the auditorium and had to set a table following the example given. The silly man handling the drinks section for the table did not give instructions on how to mix the drink and when I mixed the wrong one, he told me "NO! it will explode!". I was like " Now u tell me!! "
Task 11: Last Task! One team member must cross a sea of bottles arranged randomly while being blindfolded. A slight contact with the bottles, and the person must start all over again.
Finally, we finished the grueling race! We slumped on the nearest chair and found out we got 7th placing out of 30+ teams. hmm not bad! considering we're science student (sneezles). While waiting for the other teams to complete, we helped ourselves with generous servings of lunch.
After lunch was prize-giving ceremony and then the hospitality 20 questions quiz.
hahaha for the 2nd last question, i smsed Emir to ask him to google for the answer but unfortunately, they collected the quiz paper a bit too early. but thanks anyway Emirikins! <3
This whole race really gave us a whole new motivation and spirit for life! Everything was so fast-paced and adrenaline pumping! We all came back with a huge smile on our faces and sore, aching legs (",)

A Day Basked In Technology
APIIT & UCTI College,Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil.
That was the destination we headed to on 23th of July 2008.
Left school at 8am n huichuin gave an unsuspecting visit.
I sat with Wee Vien in the bus and when we settled down, she handed me some logic metal puzzles which kept me busy for half the time.
The most challenging was definately the screw ones!
After completing the puzzles n chatting, wee vien took a nap.
As the adage goes, "When the wee vien goes to sleep, audrey comes out to play"

Not long after that, reached our destination and the campus was beautiful and modern!
We waited at the lobby n felt a little awkward as all of us were in our school uniforms.
When the organiser came, we went to the computer lab where our "lecture" will be held.
They had computers n i was elated 2 find out that there is Internet connection 2!
So went facebooking, myspacing, friendster n myyearbooking!
Kai Ru n the gang were mario-ing! haha
Then the aesthetic doors flung open, and in came Mr.Omer our lecturer.
I tell u, he looked like one of the Bollywood stars *eyes gleaming*
Must be that Pakistan genes!
So he started off with introducing himself n imparting knowledge on technology to us while waiting for some technical problems to be resolved.
After that was settled, he started the class by teaching us how to create animations with macromedia flash!
It was funness! haha after trying our hands at animation, he concluded the enlightening class with a Q&A session.
And he still owes Yee Ling a drink!
When the class ended, we headed to the cafeteria for lunch, more like brunch.
Had a packet of meehoon n a piece of fried chicken with a cup of soya bean.
I was rushing to get the utensils that I did not realise i took 2 forks instead of a fork and a spoon!
The worst thing was i already sticked the forks into my meehoon n they ran out of spoons.
So polished my skills with forks by chomping down the meehoon n disintegrating the chicken flesh from its bones.
Kai Ru scoffed at the fact that I was trying to use 2 forks to eat the chicken without using my hands or putting it in my mouth to bite the flesh.
But in the end I managed 2 finish the whole chicken without getting my hands or mouth dirty.
Ha! in your face kai ru! ( i know she won't read this) haha
After lunch we found out that it was time to go back to school! and it was only like wat, 11.30am??
So while waiting for the bus, we had a personal photo session (",)
Not long after, the bus arrived and I chatted all the way through with Weevzykins! muaxxx
This field trip excursion was indeed fun and enlightening in so many ways albeit a short one!

Dawn Of A New Era
[drum rolls please]
I, Audrey Teh will now officially start blogging on this auspicious day!
Before I begin, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to fellow 102 year old blogger who just passed away not long ago.
Friends, how can I not live without them. Will life still be a bed of roses sans friends? Today, I discovered the true meaning of friends. They are here to lend a helping hand when yours is full. They are the ones you can fall back when everything seems to be going the opposite direction. But most importantly, friends are people you love taking picture with!
